I get a chance to reminisce as spring lovingly unfolds the
newness of life this time of year. I remind myself of when I was a young girl.
My mom made me certain every spring that I had a new dress for Easter Sunday,
complete with ruffly petticoat, lacey socks, white patent shoes & purse –
and of course – white shortie gloves. I can’t help it… I’m truly a sucker for
Easter – probably because it was always such a marvelous time for family,
Easter egg hunts & the newness of life! Thank goodness! I still can enjoy
this marvelous season vicariously through our designs at Haute Baby. Each
October, while the rest of the world is lulled into fall’s parade of golden
hues, we’re busily concocting pastel confections for spring’s wake up call.
This year our colors are fabulous: peachy pink taffeta, raspberry &
tangerine tulle, & minty damask floral. Sound delicious, right? There’s
even a crisp white eyelet for anyone’s more traditional palette.
